Scott Borthwick starred with a seven-wicket haul for Hartlepool in their dramatic three-run defeat to Darlington at Feethams. Borthwick ripped through the Darlington lineup with figures of 7/25 including four maidens in his 14.4 over spell, as the hosts were dismissed for 174 with Hartlepool falling four runs short of their 154 DLS target.
A quickfire 38 from Shafiqullah Ghafari helped Richmondshire to a 10-wicket victory over Marton. Ghafari picked up one wicket with Lalith Mohan Akkaraju taking 9/25 as Marton were bowled out for 70 at The Parkway. Ghafari then fired four sixes and one four as he made an unbeaten 38 from 33 balls.
Haydon Mustard made 45 for Shotley Bridge in a 79-run defeat to Burnopfield at the Spa Grounds. In pursuit of 290 for victory, Mustard compiled 45 from 56 deliveries with seven fours but his side ended up all out for 210.
