Robbie Bowman raced to 115 from 77 balls as Burnmoor blitzed 464/3 in 50 overs against Castle Eden. Bowman struck 15 fours and three maximums as the hosts dominated at the Village Ground. Robbie then took one catch behind the stumps as the visitors were dismissed for 145, losing by 319.
Scott Borthwick made 101 for Hartlepool in their draw at Stockton. Batting first at the Grangefield Ground Borthwick led by example for the visitors sharing partnership throughout the innings, eventually reaching three figures from 111 balls with 15 fours in Hartlepool’s 240/8.
Borthwick then claimed a pair of wickets, taking 2/50 in 15 overs as Stockton were restricted to 206/7 in their 50 overs.
George Drissell led the way with bat and ball as South Northumberland continued their strong season in the North East Premier League with a four-wicket win at Ashington. Drissell picked up figures of 3/23 in nine overs as the hosts were bowled out for 184.
Drissell then top scored with 65 from 70 balls, including five four and four maximums.
Haydon Mustard helped Shotley Bridge to a convincing win over Felling at High Heworth Lane. Mustard scored an unbeaten 53 from 44 deliveries with six fours and two maximums, leading The Bridge’s chase of 108 for a seven-wicket victory.
Shafiqullah Ghafari starred again for Richmondshire, picking up four wickets as they secured victory over Barnard Castle by four wickets. Ghafari claimed 4/42, bowling one maiden in his 15 overs as the visitors made just 158 before being all out at Hurgill Road. Ghafari’s side knocked 0ff their target inside 42 overs.
