More runs for Ghumman & McAlindon, McKinney in the runs for Burnopfield

Faizan Ghumman made a patient half-century for Tynemouth, scoring 53 from 112 balls in their draw with Hetton Lyons. Matthew Brown’s 104 was supported by 35 from 22 for Stanley McAlindon as Tynemouth made 246/6 at Easington Lane. Paul Coughlin claimed figures of 2/31 in 12 overs for the hosts.
The Lyons managed to secure a draw as they closed out their 53 overs on 191/7 with Coughlin contributing 21 from 10 deliveries.
Ben McKinney top scored for Burnopfield with 38 as they drew in a rain-interrupted game with Shotley Bridge at The Spa Grounds. After his side bowled the hosts out for 191, McKinney led the way with 38 from 56 in a low-scoring game as Burnopfield finished 157/6 from 49 overs.
