Spectator information: Durham v Derbyshire Falcons T20

Tickets are available ahead of tomorrow’s T20, in what could be a huge game for Durham, as we play our final home group fixture in the Vitality Blast against Derbyshire Falcons.

Tickets for the game are selling fast with just 4,000 spectators able to attend the fixture. However, tickets can still be purchased from gate 2 on the night.

Unfortunately, due to restrictions the Family Zone will not be taking place and the players are unable to sign autographs, however, there will be pre-match build up with our host and mascots on the pitch.

There will be a number of measures in place to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort when attending the game.

We have set out a Spectator Code of Conduct which will be continually updated and everyone should read this before they attend any games at Emirates Riverside. You can read the current Code of Conduct here

Gates will open at 4.30pm and the game will start at 6:30pm. Upon arrival tickets and membership cards will be scanned at the gate (members guest passes are not valid for T20 fixtures). If you have purchased tickets for the day all ticket holders will be asked to scan the QR codes at the gate. This will ensure we have the ability to track and trace everyone who attends on the day.

In order to safely manage the exit at the end of the game we would ask everyone to remain in their seats and we will conduct a staggered exit. This will be swift so please be patient and help keep everyone safe.

Match tickets for later games are still available online or by contacting our box office.

Please read all further instructions below ahead of attending the game:

Safety and Security Instructions

Do not attend the match if you are experiencing any of the COVID related symptoms.

Do not attend the match if you are awaiting the results of a Covid test.

You may want to consider taking a lateral flow test before you attend the game.

Parking is available in the car parks opposite the ground and within Chester Park once the car parks become full. Stewards will be in place to guide you to spaces upon arrival. Car parking is charged at £2 per vehicle payable to the steward on arrival.

It is likely a higher proportion of spectators may choose to drive to the ground in private vehicles, which will have an impact upon parking so please be patient and allow time on arrival and to exit safely.

If traveling to the game on public transport please adhere to the measures in place and wear a mask.

The ground will open at 4.30pm.

Entry will be via Gates 2 and 5, with Gate 1 open for anyone with hospitality tickets.

Disabled spectators can access entry from Gate 1.

Ticket Collection is at Gate 2 from 4.30pm

Tickets will be available to purchase from gate 2.

Ticket, safety and security checks will take place on entry to the ground. Membership and tickets will be scanned. A QR code will need to be scanned for single match ticket holders

Members guest passes are not valid for T20 Blast fixtures.

Entry will generally take longer due to Covid measures so please be patient and allow extra time to access the ground.

In order to assist in this process please avoid bringing bags if at all possible.

There will be a search regime in place at the gates

Spectators cannot bring alcohol in to T20 Blast fixtures.

Signage has been introduced within the ground to ensure, as far as possible, all areas are one-way only and enable adequate social distancing. Ground markings will be in place indicating the ‘keep left’ and one-way routes through stands. Please follow signage and stewarding directions.

It is not necessary to wear face coverings when seated watching the match. It is recommended that when moving around and especially indoors and in all covered communal / covered areas including on entry and in queues, toilets etc. a face covering should be worn.

Please sit in any stand or block but ensure that at least 1 seat distance is kept between you and the next person not forming part of your bubble. Please note;

· All seat rows will be used

· The end seat of each row adjacent to the radial gangway will remain vacant.

Disabled spectators will be accommodated in the allocated areas across the lateral gangway running from Block 12 to Block 21. Access to this area is provided by the lift at Tower 1. There are also disabled viewing areas located in blocks 1 to 4 and also behind the north west terrace in front of Bannatynes.

The club reception will be closed. Scorecards, programmes and yearbooks are available from the club shop.

All normal toilet facilities will be available for use, please ensure social distancing is maintained when entering and exiting these areas.

Whilst we are not cashless, we encourage people to use card payment whenever possible in the shop and at bars and concessions.

In order to safely manage the exit at the end of the game we would ask everyone to remain in their seats and we will conduct a staggered exit. This will be swift so please be patient and help keep everyone safe.

Members lounge arrangements and other concessions

The members lounge is open to members and season ticket holders.

Entry will be via Tower 3 as normal but exit will be from Tower 2 (a one-way system)

Food and beverage is available in the members lounge however this will be table service only.

Please be aware that there is a reduced capacity in this space to adhere to social distancing rules. We ask that members are considerate of each other and use the lounge for refreshment and respite but do not occupy space for extended periods to allow others to enjoy the facility.

The members balcony will be available but social distancing measure will be in place so seating capacity is severely reduced.

The Sticky Wicket pub is open with standard procedure in place for indoor and outdoor drinking and dining.

Other concessions will be available around the ground including a coffee van, ice cream van and drinks van – please adhere to social distancing protocols when queuing for these.
