Become a T20 Match Day Activator and be at the heart of the match day experience at Seat Unique Riverside this summer.
We are looking for passionate, energetic, and enthusiastic individuals to join the team as Match Day Activators for the upcoming T20 domestic cricket season. If you love the thrill of the game, the roar of the crowd, and the fantastic venue that is the home of Durham Cricket, we’ve got the perfect opportunity for you!
What will you be doing?
As a Match Day Activator, your mission will be to supercharge the match day experience! You’ll be the life of the party in our Family Zone, creating an unforgettable atmosphere for participants looking to try out their skills at our skill zones. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the running of the Family Zone programme, coordinating activities, directing spectators, queue busting, while being welcoming and energetic, ensuring everyone has a fantastic time at the ground.
Duties may include:
- Assisting in the running of the Family Zone programme
- Queue busting, helping queuing customers
- Directing/chaperoning individuals/crowds/VIPs to appropriate area/seating
- Communication of key messages outside of venue.
- Welcoming spectators and providing an information point at entrance to venue including distributing relevant information
- Programme/scorecard selling

Who are we looking for?
You don’t need to be a cricket expert, but being friendly and welcoming is a must. Whether you’re a student looking for a fun summer role, a cricket enthusiast wanting to get closer to the action, or someone who simply loves bringing joy to others, we want to hear from you!
To be a Match Day Activator you must:
- Be 18 years of age
- Friendly and enthusiastic
- Be available for at least three shifts (games or events throughout the summer months)
