Durham Cricket can announce a new partnership with Cormack Consultancy Group (CCG) who will support the club’s Academy programme and its commitment to developing the next generation of cricketing talent.
The partnership reflects CCG’s wider commitment to creating opportunity, supporting talent development, and investing in future generations – values that sit at the heart of both the Academy programme and CCG’s mission-led work with universities and educational institutions around the world.
Through its international higher education partnerships, CCG works with universities to expand access to education, create pathways for students and support long-term institutional development. The organisation believes many of the same principles that underpin successful educational partnerships also apply to the development of young people in sport – opportunity, commitment, partnership, and investment in potential.
Charles Cormack, Chairman of Cormack Consultancy Group, said:”At Cormack Consultancy Group, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to realise their potential, whatever their background or the challenges they may face. Whether that’s through our work with universities around the world, supporting young people through sport, or helping raise awareness and understanding of dyslexia, our purpose is the same – creating pathways to potential and opportunities that help people succeed.
Tom Seymour, Commercial Director at Durham Cricket said: “We are thrilled to announce this partnership with Cormack Consultancy Group (CCG)

“Cormack Consultancy Group do a fantastic job working within the education system with a strong commitment to education, opportunity and social impact.

The partnership forms part of CCG’s wider programme of community and social impact activity, which includes leading the Ukraine Twinning Initiative and partnerships focused on widening opportunity and supporting local communities with Dyslexia Scotland and Lincoln FC Academy.
Together, CCG and Durham Cricket look forward to supporting the development of future talent and creating opportunities for young people to achieve their ambitions both on and off the field.
