Durham Cricket is pleased to announce Lion Beer, Sri Lanka’s iconic beer brand, as an Official Partner for the 1st ODI between England and Sri Lanka, taking place at Banks Homes Riverside Ground, Chester-le-Street, on 22 September 2026.

The partnership brings together two brands with a strong connection to cricket and its supporters, as Sri Lanka begins its ODI contest against England in Durham.

As part of the association, Lion Beer will enjoy a prominent presence across Banks Homes Riverside Ground, including branding across perimeter LED boards, player balcony areas and the North-West Upper Tier, alongside digital visibility through Durham Cricket’s platforms.

The partnership will also extend beyond branding, with Lion Beer and Durham Cricket collaborating on PR and fan-engagement opportunities around the fixture, creating a strong connection between the brand, the venue and cricket supporters.
