Clubs across Durham can now apply to become Durham Cricket’s Chance to Shine partners for the 2019/20 academic year.
Durham Cricket will be delivering full school Chance to Shine programmes in 60 schools this coming academic year, giving 5,000 youngsters their first experience in cricket and are inviting expressions of interest from clubs that have the drive to provide sustainable cricket opportunities and grow their junior participation numbers.
Durham Cricket have been a delivery partner of the national cricket charity for 14 years, during which Chance to Shine has inspired thousands of state school pupils to play and learn through cricket.
Chance to Shine delivery has also proved to be key for the promotion of All Stars Cricket with over 50% of signups to the programme in Durham resulting from school engagement.
Clubs across Durham can express their interest in becoming a partner in 2019/20 and every club that submits an expression of interest will get a visit from one of our development officers to discuss the scope of a potential project.
