England Women open up their summer of cricket as they look to get their 2026 home campaign underway in winning style.
We are set for an exciting day of cricket and recommend spectators get to the ground early to soak up the atmosphere.
GATES
Entry to the ground will be via Gates 2 and 3 and gates will open at 10:00am.
Gate 4 will be open for Bannatyne Gym and Spa users only.
Hospitality gates will also open at 10:00am with access via Gate 1.
HOURS OF PLAY
The scheduled hours of play are as follows, but please listen for announcements of any adjustments to these timings on the day.
10:30am – toss
11:00am – start
14:10-14:40 – interval
17:50 – Scheduled Close of Play
*30 minutes extra time is available should there be any weather interruptions
VENUE
Banks Homes Riverside is a cashless venue.
No alcohol or glass can be brought into the venue.
CAR PARKING
Parking is available in the council car parks outside the ground at £5 in advance and £7 on the day. Assistance will be available on the day when parking your car via our helpful stewards. To pre purchase parking please CLICK HERE
Car parks will take some time to empty at the end of the game so please be patient.
ENTERTAINMENT
The Everyone Active Family Zone will be open for children of all ages to enjoy fun cricket-themed activities. Test your skills with challenges inspired by stars like Lauren Bell’s fast bowling or Amy Jones’ sharp catches! Located behind the County Durham Stand, the Family Zone opens at 11am with plenty of games and entertainment for young fans.
In partnership with Heineken, the Durham Cricket Fan Zone returns bigger and better, situated in front of the main pavilion. The Heineken Fan Zone offers a wide range of food and drink options, plus seating to soak up the atmosphere. It will stay open after the match ends, so you can grab a final drink or bite before heading home.
The Heineken Fan Zone will host a large selection of varied food and drink options with seating to relax and enjoy the live music. Our fan zone will remain open after the close of play to grab a final drink or bite to eat before leaving.
GROUND/PITCH ACCESS
Access onto the Playing Surface/Pitch is not allowed at anytime during the match.
The match will be played on pitch 9.
SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS
Please allow sufficient time for our staff to carry out our security procedures (including bag searches and “pat – down”checks).
You can also assist with the security operation by reporting any concerns-no matter how small-to the club’s stewards. Help stay secure by staying alert; if something doesn’t look right, tell a steward or text 07851183114 anonymously.
Food and soft drinks can be brought into the ground, but NO ALCOHOL can be brought into the venue.
SHOP/RECEPTION/BOX OFFICE
Durham’s Welcome Hub will be open throughout this fixture.
Fans will have the chance to browse all of our retail offering in our club shop.
Programmes and scorecards can be purchased from the club shop.
LEAVING THE GROUND
We ask that all spectators leave the ground promptly at the conclusion of the match. Please follow the instructions from our stewards when doing so.
FOOD AND DRINK
There are several catering units on site offering a range of food options. These will be located in the car park next to gate 2.
On site we will be operating the Undercroft bar, Container Bar and The Sticky Wicket will be open.
The Big Screen bar will also be open.
There will be a facility open for Durham Cricket members and this will be based in the Castle View Suite. Hot and cold drinks, snacks and sandwiches will be available. No hot food will be available in the members lounge. For access into the members lounge please present your membership card on arrival.
TICKETS
Tickets for this fixture are still available and can be purchased in advance at £25 for adults and £5 for children.
You can also purchase tickets on the day for this fixture via gate 2 collection office.
SENSORY ROOM/MULTI FAITH ROOM/FAMILY NURSING ROOM
Our Sensory Room will be open on Sunday.
Based in the Media Centre, this room will provide safe, relaxing space for individuals and families to enjoy an unrivalled view of the game. Due to the space available this is done by calling 0191 387 1717 or by emailing box.office@durhamcricket.co.uk.
Around the corner from the Media Centre a Changing Places facility is available which includes disabled toilets and changing space.
The new accessible changing facility meets the needs of those with complex care needs and provides equipment, including a height adjustable adult-sized changing bench, ceiling track hoist system and peninsular toilet.
Oue Multi-Faith Room will be available to use during this fixture, this is located next to the Media Centre. The Multi-Faith Room will be available to use during matchdays and will be a space for people of all faiths to spend time in prayer or contemplation.
