The Tier 1 system commenced with three exciting rounds of the Metro Bank One Day Cup. Women’s Player of the Month
Phoebe Turner (Durham)
Turner, 21, has picked up nine wickets in the competition so far to top the wicket-taking charts after three matches.
She has also won two Match MVPs in April. Her first honour came against Essex where she secured figures of 4-33 earning 21.76 points with her second coming against The Blaze where she picked up 3-29.
Emily Arlott (Warwickshire)
Warwickshire all-rounder Arlott has made a great start to the new season, topping the Women’s Overall MVP table with 61.58 points thanks to 134 runs and five wickets.
She won the Match MVP against Essex for her contribution with the bat where she scored 130 and helped her side recover from 22-5 to win the game.
Kathryn Bryce (The Blaze)
Bryce won the Women’s Domestic Overall MVP last season and has continued with her excellent form. The 27-year-old has taken eight wickets and has scored 124 runs.
The Scotland captain won two Match MVPs in April. Her first came against Lancashire where she scored 70 and took a wicket while her second was against Warwickshire where she ended with 5-38.
Emma Lamb (Lancashire)
Lamb is currently the leading run-scorer of the Metro Bank One Day Cup, scoring 268 runs at an average of 134 and also contributing with six wickets.
Hitting a half century in every game so far, the right-handed batter scored an unbeaten 130 and also went on to take three wickets against The Blaze.
