Members Schedule confirmed for 2024

With 2024 on the horizon, we are pleased to be able to announce our Members schedule for the next 12 months as we continue to engage with our members.

As outlined when renewing your membership, a benefit of being a Durham member is experiencing monthly events as we bring the Durham membership community together.

Below outlines each month with what we currently have planned for members.

Dates for our events later in the year will be confirmed in due course.

January

Our first event of the year we will host a “Durham Cricket Club Overview forum” on Tuesday 16th January, as members will be able to listen to staff from across the business including updates from our boy’s and girl’s pathway and academies, latest on our hotel, updates within the ground as Vic Demain our Head Groundsman will cover pitches and review how they played in 2023. This event will be held in the Geoff Cook Suite at 7pm.

February

 2024 Durham Cricket Members are invited to attend the Members’ Coffee Morning on Wednesday 28th February, to enjoy complimentary biscuit, tea and coffee, alongside a New Year catch-up and Q&A.  This event will be from 11am until 12:30pm in the Castle View Suite.

March

Following a successful launch in 2023, we are pleased to announce our Hall of Fame event returns on Wednesday 27th March. We will announce another set of Durham Cricket inductee who will receive a special Durham Cricket Hall of Fame cap, while a commemorative programme will be produced to recognise the inductees. For this event members can purchase a ticket which includes a three-course meal. Ticket details will be circulated in due course. Tickets are £55 per person (inc VAT) which must include a minimum of 2 guests. To register your interest please email stephanie.pattinson@durhamcricket.co.uk

April

Our annual Meet the Players event returns in 2024, as we preview our Division 1 campaign with all members of the playing squad and coaching staff in attendance. This night will take place ahead of the season in the Geoff Cook suite from 6pm.

May

With the T20 Blast season getting underway in May, our T20 Blast preview season night will take place ahead of our opening T20 Blast game awe look ahead to our 2024 T20 Blast campaign. This event will see Ryan Campbell and selected white ball players in attendance.

June

Enjoy an afternoon quiz looking over the Lumley Castle for our June event. Our popular quiz hosted by Ash Thorpe is once again geared up to test our members brains on all things Durham Cricket.

July

Our July members event will preview our 2024 Metro Bank One Day Cup campaign. Hear from coaching staff and players who are due to feature in that competition.

August

With the Durham Cricket foundation offering a wide range of activities such as walking cricket, arts and craft sessions, plus much more, our August event will give members the opportunity to take part in a taster session at Seat Unique Riverside. This will give members a chance to try something new with the potential of taking up a Foundation activity.

September

After day 2 of Durham v Lancashire in the County Championship we will hold a member’s quiz and bingo evening at Seat Unique Riverside.

October

Our October event will round of the 2024 cricket season with a season review, as Marcus North, Ryan Campbell and a selected group of players will be in attendance to look back on the previous campaign.

November

In November, members will be invited for a fixture breakfast, as the season’s fixtures will be announced for 2025. Members can be part of an exclusive event, enjoying a cup of tea or coffee while seeing who Durham will be taking on in 2025.

December

Come and join us for our annual Members Christmas lunch on Tuesday 10th December 2024. This is the perfect opportunity to catch-up with fellow Durham Cricket Club Members old & new to discuss last season & what’s next in 2025. The room will be decorated for a winter wonderland, with a drink on arrival, a special appearance from the Salvation Army band & a 3-course meal. It’s sure to be a great afternoon!
