Durham Cricket Foundation is delighted to announce that Everyone Active will return as Headline Sponsor for 2026 Golf Day, building on the success of last year’s inaugural event.
The charity golf day will take place on Friday 21 August at Ramside Hall’s Prince Bishops’ Course and will bring together businesses, community organisations and cricket supporters from across the North East to raise funds for Durham Cricket Foundation’s work in local communities.
Following a successful first event in 2025, which welcomed 18 teams and raised valuable funds to support the Foundation’s programmes, Everyone Active has once again committed to supporting the event as Headline Sponsor, reinforcing its long-standing partnership with Durham Cricket Foundation.
As one of the Foundation’s key partners, Everyone Active has supported a range of community initiatives over several years, including the popular Family Zone at Banks Homes Riverside. Their continued backing of Golf Day will help Durham Cricket Foundation expand its impact across the region through programmes that use the power of sport to inspire and improve lives.
Graeme Weeks, Chief Executive Officer at Durham Cricket Foundation, said: “After such a fantastic response to our inaugural Golf Day, we are thrilled to welcome Everyone Active back as our Headline Sponsor for 2026.”
“Their support has been instrumental in helping us grow this event and more importantly, continue delivering opportunities for people across our communities. We are incredibly grateful for their commitment to the Foundation and our vision of using sport to make a positive difference throughout the North East.
“We are excited to build on last year’s success and create an even bigger and better event for our supporters, partners and participants.”
Ian Bradgate, Area Contract Manager at Everyone Active, said: “We are proud to continue our partnership with Durham Cricket Foundation as Headline Sponsor of the 2026 Golf Day.
“The Foundation’s work aligns closely with our commitment to supporting healthier, stronger and more connected communities. We are looking forward to another fantastic day at Ramside Hall and helping to raise funds that will support the Foundation’s important programmes across the region.”
The Durham Cricket Foundation Golf Day offers teams the opportunity to enjoy a full day of golf, networking and fundraising, beginning with breakfast rolls and refreshments on arrival before a shotgun-start Texas Scramble competition on Ramside Hall’s stunning Prince Bishops’ Course. Along the way, players can take part in on-course challenges including Nearest the Pin, Longest Drive and Beat the Pro competitions, with fantastic prizes up for grabs, before rounding off the day with a post-golf BBQ, prize presentation and networking in the clubhouse.
All proceeds from the event will support Durham Cricket Foundation’s work to grow recreational cricket, deliver inclusive participation programmes and create opportunities for people of all ages and abilities across Durham and the wider North East.
Following strong demand, the 2026 Durham Cricket Foundation Golf Day is nearing capacity, with only two to three team places remaining. A number of hole sponsorship opportunities are also available for businesses looking to support the Foundation’s work while showcasing their brand at one of the charity’s flagship fundraising events.
