England v India – Now Less Than 50 Parking Passes Remaining

With less than one week to go until the big match car parking spaces around the Emirates Durham ICG are selling fast. We currently have less than 50 parking passes remaining for our onsite car parking. Car parking is priced at £7 per car and can be booked through the Box Office on 0844 499 4466.

These passes will be sold on a first come first serve basis. In the unlikely event there are spaces still remaining on the day these spaces will be priced at £15 on the day so it is worth purchasing in advance as availability cannot be guaranteed.

Park and Ride

The alternative for those without a pre-paid parking pass is to use our Park and Ride service from Lambton Estates (DH3 4PQ). This park and ride service is signposted from all major routes and will be available from 7.30am and is priced at only £2 per car which is payable on the day at the Park and Ride site. Buses will run until 30minutes after the close of play.

Train

A limited number of trains stop at Chester-le-Street station, a fifteen minute walk from the Emirates Durham. A more extensive service operates to Durham station from where Durham CCC will operate a shuttle bus service. The shuttle bus service will operate from 7.30am to 10.30am in the morning, with a return service operating 30 minutes prior the close of play or abandonment of the game. The cost of this service is £2.00 per single journey and is paid on the shuttle bus.
