The Foundation is helping families make the most of the February half term by offering 200 free All Stars Cricket holiday camp places at the Beacon of Light in Sunderland.
Taking place on Friday 27 February from 9:30am to 12pm, the camp is open to children aged 5-8 and will deliver fun, fast-paced cricket activities in a safe, welcoming environment, giving young people an active and positive half-term experience at no cost to families.
The free camp continues the Foundation’s commitment to removing cost as a barrier to sport, following the success of its 2025 holiday programme which delivered 1300 free cricket places for children across the North East.
Every child who registers will receive the official ECB All Stars Cricket kit, including a backpack, bat, ball and personalised t-shirt – a package that would typically cost families £50 per child, but is fully funded through the support of the England and Wales Cricket Board.
The February camp is designed to introduce children to cricket through games, teamwork and movement, helping to build confidence, coordination and a positive relationship with physical activity during the school holidays.
Parents and carers are encouraged to register in advance, as places are limited. The session is completely free when booking with the discount code below.
