James Lowe

James is the Lead Performance Coach for pathway and academy cricket, which sees him oversee the junior cricket pathway system in Durham, with a primary focus on under 14, under 15 and the emerging players programme. As well as being head coach of the women’s regional development centre based in Durham.

Having been a former Durham player, ‘Lowey’ has overseen the grown of the womens academy from 2017, with players such as Helen Fenby already called to play for England senior women’s academy and played for Yorkshire Diamonds in the Kia Super League.

The 37-year-old scored 80 on his first-class debut against Hampshire and featured in nine first class matches throughout his career. Lowe now plays for Hartlepool in the North Yorkshire South Durham League as he continues to lead the way at local cricket.
