Ben Stokes & Mark Wood have earned a call-up to England’s Test squad for the first Test match against Pakistan starting on Thursday, 24 May.
The pair will be in contention to face Pakistan at Lord’s after being named in a 12-man squad for the first of a two match series.
Both played in England’s last five day match, against New Zealand in Christchurch back in March, with Wood looking for his 12th cap & Stokes his 42nd.
Wood make an explosive return to red ball cricket on Friday, taking a career-best 6/46 against Derbyshire.
