England v Sri Lanka game proves popular, as club records one of its best on-sale weeks

The announcement that World Champions England will be returning to Emirates Riverside has proven popular, as the club has recorded one of its best week of sales for an international fixture in Chester le Street.

Durham Members and Australia IT20 buyers have taken advantage of their priority access by securing tickets in their favourite seats, ahead of next June’s ODI in the region.

The game is once again anticipated to be a sell-out, with the previous seven internationals at the club selling out.

With huge numbers signed up to the ballot, the only way to secure priority international tickets is to be a full Durham Cricket member, and for those fans who would like to guarantee their preferred seat, you can purchase a Durham membership below along with receiving a £5 discount off your ticket.

Time is running out to take advantage of priority tickets and members have just over a week to secure their priority international tickets.

Marketing Director, David Jackson said: “We are delighted with the response we have had since going on sale on Tuesday. This has been one of the most popular week of sales for an international fixture we have hosted at the ground, so the appetite to watch cricket is very much still here.

“The ballot has proven extremely popular and we would advise anyone intending on buying or renewing a membership with the intention of coming to the international to do so early to guarantee the seat they want.”

Durham membership includes access to all domestic cricket at Emirates Riverside along with a host of extras which include access to the Members Lounge with a private bar; a complimentary copy of the yearbook; reciprocal days at other North East venues and access to Members Forums across the year.
