Durham set to host England v Australia T20

Durham Cricket are delighted to announce that Emirates Riverside will host Australia in a T20 International on Friday July 3 (6.30pm start).

The ECB has announced the full list of fixtures and venues for England’s 2020 summer this morning – with the North East playing host to yet another marquee matchup.

Tickets go on general sale on Thursday October 10th, but Durham Cricket offer a number of ways to get priority access to the sale.

A public ballot will open on Friday 30th August, while Durham Cricket members who renew their membership for 2020 will be able to purchase tickets from Monday 9th September – an early bird offer will give members who purchase before Friday 20th December a £10 discount on their membership and a £5 discount on their International T20 ticket.

Vitality Blast season ticket holders will also have the opportunity to purchase International tickets early if they renew their membership for 2020 from Monday 23rd September.

Tickets will then go on sale to Cricket World Cup 2019 ticket purchasers and previous international ticket purchasers, as well as the England Supporters’ Club on Tuesday 1st October before ballot winners are notified and can purchase from Friday 4th October.

ECB Chief Executive Officer Tom Harrison said: “With further interest in IT20 cricket, the six-matches against Australia and the world number one side Pakistan will offer a fascinating guide to form ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia during the autumn of 2020.”

Durham Cricket Chief Executive Tim Bostock said: “We are delighted to have another high-profile international fixture at Emirates Riverside. Our last three England games have sold out and this will be another full house. I would encourage anyone who does not purchase a membership but wants to come to this game to sign up for the ballot as early as possible.”
