Day 4
Durham Second XI see final game of the season against Glamorgan Second XI abandoned with no play possible on the final two days.
With heavy rainfall on day three and four, there was no further play possible after the opening two days with the match being abandoned in Newport.
Day 2
Durham Second XI strike six times on day two in Newport before rain curtails progress against Glamorgan Second XI.
Resuming day two on 301 for seven, the Durham tail managed to add a further 87 in Newport with Mitchell Killeen making 42 and Daniel Hogg adding an unbeaten 31 from 37 balls.
Daniel Hogg located top of off with two beauties before a pair of wickets for Luke Robinson had the hosts struggling at 52/4.
Alex Horton and Jack Hope-Bell calmed things down for the hosts sharing 63 before George Drissell bowled Horton on 42.
Rain began to fall shortly afterwards, denying play for almost two hours.
Drissell spun one through the gate to bowl Dan Douthwaite as the players returned to the field for just 4.1 overs before the rain returned, ending the day with Glamorgan 119/6 and trailing by 269.
Day 1
Durham Second XI enjoy strong opening day with the bat against Glamorgan Second XI in Newport as Will Rhodes scores an 84-ball century.
After a delayed start due to rain in Newport, Scott Borthwick chose to bat against Glamorgan.
Ben Morris claimed two wickets for the hosts in his opening spell trapping Wilf La Fontaine-Jackson and Borthwick in front.
Faizan Ghumman (32) steadied the Durham innings with a partnership off 44 alongside Luke Symington (33) before Dan Douthwaite struck twice in as many deliveries.
Ghumman and Robbie Bowman shared 58 as the Ds reached 132 before Ghumman tickled one through to Alex Horton.
Bowman added 57 alongside Rhodes in just 10 overs before being caught on 46 with Durham 189/6.
Rhodes had already made 37 from 35 when Owen Harwood joined him at the crease and continued to score at a rate as he raced to an 84-ball century which included 16 fours.
Rhodes was eventually dismissed for 107 from 94 balls, having shared a 103-run stand with Owen Harwood and leaving Durham in a strong position on 292 for seven.
Harwood and Mitchell Killeen managed to see Alan Walker’s side through to the close, reaching 301/7 from 71 overs in a rain-reduced opening day.
