Durham confirm 2022 pre-season schedule

Durham Cricket will get their pre-season preparations underway in just under two weeks’ time with a three-day friendly against Durham UCCE, starting on Wednesday 23 March at 11am.

The three-day friendly against Durham University will take place at the Racecourse and will be the first opportunity for the Durham squad to get outdoor match practice ahead of the season opener against Glamorgan on Thursday 7 April.

Durham will then return to action two days later hosting Yorkshire at the Riverside in a three-day fixture (Monday 28 to Wednesday 30 March at 11am) before travelling to Wantage Road on Thursday 31 March and Friday 1 April in a two-day friendly.

James Franklin’s side will play 8 days of outdoor red ball cricket and will enable him to assess all squad players ahead of Durham’s opening fixture against Glamorgan.

Further information on match information and ground entry for Durham’s game against Yorkshire will follow in due course.

Durham members and spectators are welcome to attend the Northamptonshire fixture free of charge, with limited concessions available across both days.

Spectators will also be able to attend the Durham University free of charge across all three days.
