DCCC announce Darlington Building Society as Foundation partner

Durham County Cricket Club is delighted to add Darlington Building Society as a DCCC Foundation partner.

The independent firm, who recently celebrated their 160th anniversary, strive to create a feeling of pride among their staff, members and local communities and will assist the DCCC Foundation on a number of exciting initiatives.

Darlington Building Society will help with the funding, promotion, awareness and growth on a number of Foundation projects all designed to support the people within our regional community.

Durham County Cricket Club Foundation Manager, Josie Pointon said: “We’re delighted to have partnered up with DBS and I’m excited for us to work together during the 2018 season.

“The Foundation has a busy year ahead and our continued delivery of our community projects is integral to the Foundation’s development.

“Darlington Building Society will help support our various programmes including 50 Not Out, Dining by the Boundary, Online Owls, Caught and Sewed and our care home initiatives.

“Last year we engaged with nearly 10,000 participants, added three new care homes to our outreach work. This year we hope to be even more successful and with DBS on side, I have no doubt we will achieve our aim.”

Caroline Darnbrook, Marketing Director at Darlington Building Society said “We are so pleased to be working with the Foundation to make a positive difference to so many people. This is all part of our pledge to give 5% of our profits back to the region and our members have voted to let us know how they would like this money to be used. We look forward to all the exciting initiatives the team have planned to support people in our region.”
