Burnopfield CC will host a T20 tri-series next week featuring some of Durham’s First XI & prospective future players.
A number of the First & Second XI will play alongside the club’s current under-19 & under-17s to make up two of the three sides.
The third team comprises of prospective players from cricket agency CricX & will give the chance for the club’s coaching staff to assess their skills.
The three-team competition sees all sides play against each other across Wednesday, 15 August & Thursday, 16 August.
Durham’s two sides meet first up at midday on Wednesday before the first of those sides meets the CricX XI later in the day. The second DCCC side meets CricX at 11am on Thursday, with the top two meeting in the final at 3pm later the same day.
Entry is free for both days of cricket.
Burnopfield are also hosting a talk-in with Durham Jets captain Tom Latham & some of the Jets players after play on the first day.
The talk-in includes food & tickets are available from Burnopfield at £10 per person.
