Bas de Leede picked up by Pokhara Avengers for 2024 NPL

Durham all-rounder Bas de Leede has signed for Pokhara Avengers for the 2024 Nepal Premier League.

De Leede will join forces with West Indies International Anderson Phillip and USA international Andries Gous in the first edition of the competition.

The Netherlands international will come up against the likes of James Neesham, Saif Zaib and Tom Moores in the new eight-team competition running until 21st December 2024.

De Leede represented his nation at the Men’s T20 World Cup, taking three wickets in four games and has appeared previously on the franchise circuit, having played for Desert Vipers, MI Emirates and Morrisville Samp Army.

The 24-year-old also contributed important all-round display in Durham colours in the 2024 Vitality Blast, making 80 runs alongside four wickets in seven games.
