Australian Heather Graham pens Blast deal

Durham Cricket are delighted to announce the signing of Heather Graham for the 2026 Vitality Blast.

An Australian international and two-time Women’s Big Bash League winner, Graham will arrive in Chester-le-Street in May ahead of Durham’s Blast opener against Hampshire Hawks at Banks Homes Riverside and will be available for the entire competition.

An experienced all-rounder closing in on 3,000 career T20 runs coupled with over 200 T20 wickets, Graham claimed 16 scalps for Hobart Hurricanes in their victorious WBBL campaign in 2025, picking up figures of 2/8 in the final.

The 29-year-old has featured for Australia in both white ball formats impressing with the ball in her maiden IT20 series with seven wickets in three outings against India in December 2022, starring with T20 career best figures of 4/8 in Mumbai.

Seasoned in English domestic cricket, the right-armer picked up 15 wickets on the way to lifting the 2024 Charlotte Edwards Cup with The Blaze whilst notching 186 runs in the T20 Blast for the Trent Bridge side in 2025.

Born in Western Australia, Graham has represented the Perth-based side domestically since 2011 alongside a spell with Tasmania whilst also having Perth Scorchers, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Trent Rockets and Northern Superchargers on her CV.

On signing for Durham, Heather Graham said: “I am thrilled to join Durham for the 2026 Vitality Blast campaign and really excited to get back to the UK for the summer.

“Having played in the Blast previously I know how strong of a competition it is and I hope to bring success to Durham.
“I remember playing in Durham last summer and it being a great ground with strong support so I very much look forward to joining up with the girls shortly and meeting all of our fans.”
