Lucy Pillinger (EPP) and Alex Jardine (Under 18s) have been selected to feature at the upcoming School Games competition at Loughborough University.
The competition pits the best up-and-coming female players from across the counties who will play off against each other, Scotland and Ireland Women Under-19s, in this weekend’s tournament at the University.
A promising bowler, Jardine has picked up 10 wickets for Durham Girls’ Under 18s in 2026 while playing her club cricket at Durham City Cricket Club and will represent Scotland.
Top-order batter Pillinger has impressed in Durham’s female Emerging Player Programme side passing fifty on two occasions for the county age group sides this summer and is part of the England representative side.
