Alex Lees ruled out of Durham’s Vitality Blast campaign

Alex Lees has been ruled out of Durham’s 2021 Vitality Blast campaign with an injury sustained during last weeks County Championship fixture against Worcestershire.

Lees suffered a broken hand during the first innings at New Road and couldn’t play any further part in the game, with Michael Jones and Cameron Bancroft opening the batting second time around.

Durham’s Vitality Blast campaign gets underway on Friday 11 June against Yorkshire Vikings at Emirates Riverside.

Tickets for Durham’s games at Emirates Riverside against Notts Outlaws (Tuesday 15 June) & Lancashire Lightning (Thursday 17th June) now have a very limited availability, with the games being played in front of a reduced capacity.
