Banks, Ebac become RL50 shirt sponsors

Durham Cricket is delighted to announce Banks Group and Ebac as new RL50 sponsors for the 2019 season.

Banks Group and Ebac – both who currently sponsor Durham’s Academy and age group squads’ kit – will appear on the club’s Royal London One-Day Cup shirt with Banks replacing Port of Tyne on the front of the freshly rebranded blue Gray-Nicolls jersey.

Durham Cricket, Sales Director, Tom Seymour, said: “We’re delighted to have two new sponsors for the 2019 RL50 playing shirts at a very exciting time for the club.

“The new shirts feature our new Durham Cricket crest and exciting rebranded colourway, which we believe has strengthened our brand and visual identity immensely.

“It’s great to see Banks Group and Ebac feature on the RL50 shirt after supporting the club for a number of years.”

David Martin, Company Secretary, The Banks Group: “We are delighted and proud to continue our sponsorship of Durham Cricket.

“As a family owned, County Durham based business, a key part of our values – enshrined in development with care – is investing in the communities in which we operate and serve. Our long-standing association with Durham Cricket is very much in line with that.”

Ebac Executive Chairman, John Elliott MBE, added: “The club has an excellent record of developing local players that have ended up on the world stage and we’re delighted to see some of the more recent young talents wearing the first team jersey with our sponsor on it.
