Durham won the toss and elected to bat first, going on to score 258 from their 50 overs with Mark Stoneman scoring 46 and Scott Borthwick 50* off 30 balls.
The match was incredibly tight with Glamorgan needing 2 to win from the last ball, bowled by Ben Harmison who ended up with figures of 3-67, which went through to the wicket keeper, who threw the ball at the stumps but missed and Glamorgan’s last pair got through for a bye to get the tie.
Scott Borthwick took 2-42 from 10 overs and Will Gidman also picked up two wickets.
On day one of the Championship fixture Glamorgan won the toss and chose to set a total on the board. They declared on 321-8 after 94.1 overs. Scott Borthwick continued his form off the one day game taking 4-93 off 25 overs.
Durham managed to squeeze in seven overs before the close of play and were 37 without loss, Mark Stoneman 24* and Karl Turner 13*.
