Lads return for pre-season fitness training

Durham Cricket professional playing squad returned back to Emirates Riverside early this week, after lockdown halted their return to training.

The Club’s lead strength & conditioning coach, Sam Clark, is leading the players’ fitness programmes as they start to plan towards the 2021 season.

The winter fitness programme began with the squad working in the gym on a number of capacity & strength tests before a 2K run on the outside running track.

A fitness programme is in place up until the Christmas period, with the players then returning again in the New Year to continue their final prep ahead of the new season.

Durham Cricket TV caught up with Sam Clark on the 2020/21 pre-season fitness schedule.
