Glass Painting for people over 50

We’re running free glass painting classes for people over 50 at the Riverside.

The initiative is part of the Foundation’s “50 Not Out” project which aims to improve older people’s mental and physical wellbeing through a number of activities and social events.

The Foundation provides all materials and no previous experience is needed.

The glass painting sessions cover mixing paints and various pattern techniques, used on glass. Participants will upcycle empty jars and bottles to design new decorative pieces that they can keep.

The sessions are a great way to learn something new or work on your glass painting skills if you’re not a beginner in this craft, while meeting new people and joining a supportive group.

TIMES:

Every Friday at Seat Unique Riverside from 10.00am – 12.00pm
