Paul Coughlin
One of the brightest prospects to come through the ranks in recent seasons, Paul Coughlin further developed his game by being appointed T20 captain in 2017.
The all-rounder burst onto the scene by making 85 on Championship debut against Lancashire & potential has seen him spend time working on his game with the England Pace Programme.
He has become a big player in all formats for Durham with his increasingly quick pace bowling & pinch-hitting style with the bat, which brought him a maiden T20 fifty against Birmingham in 2017.
Coughlin is also widely regarded as one of the country’s finest fielders & combines the tough job of T20 captaincy with fielding on the boundary ropes.
