Emily Windsor
Durham Cricket announced the signing of Emily Windsor on a three-year deal until the end of the 2027 campaign.
A right-handed middle order batter, Windsor has over 2500 runs to her name in both white ball formats with 13 half-centuries, featuring in close to 200 matches.
Born in Portsmouth, the 27-year-old progressed through the Hampshire pathway before making her professional debut in 2020 with the Southern Vipers.
Following her maiden List A debut against Sunrisers, Windsor has featured for Oval Invincibles, Welsh Fire, and Trent Rockets in the Hundred.
A proven winner, Windsor was part of the Southern Vipers side that won the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy three times in four years and lifted The Hundred with Oval Invincibles in 2022.
She showed her mettle when she took the Vipers over the line in the 2021 Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy final with a crucial knock of 47* to anchor their chase of 184 in victory over Northern Diamonds.
The 27-year-old enjoyed her most fruitful campaign in 2023, accumulating 408 runs across 11 innings scoring four fifties, including an unbeaten 57 in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy final victory over The Blaze.
