Women's Cricket

Women’s Softball Cricket

Soft ball cricket is about maximum fun and minimum fuss.  It’s a game for absolutely everybody, no matter your skill level, fitness, or age.

The format is simple – played with a soft ball and plastic bats, it is open to any ability – whether you’re a beginner looking to try out something new or a more experienced player who, every once in a while, would like to get back to the basics.

A number of clubs across Durham run women’s soft ball teams and they are all welcoming new members on and off season.

Women’s Hardball Cricket

If you are a more experienced and confident cricketer, hardball cricket could provide you with a the competitive edge the game has to offer.

With an ever-growing hardball Women’s league, players will have a chance to play this format throughout the summer as well as in a few county-wide pre-season competitions.
