Durham Second XI rounded off their T20 campaign with a victory over Nottinghamshire in Sookholme.
Electing to field first at the John Fretwell Centre, Durham had the hosts five down within eight overs when Nottinghamshire had scored just 49.
Daniel Hogg picked up two wickets in the fifth over while Shafiqullah Ghafari, Duanne Olivier and George Drissell all claimed one apiece.
Farhan Ahmed (62) and Rob Lord (56) recovered the Green and Golds’ innings with a 116-run partnership in 11 overs, taking Notts to 165.
George Drissell and D Christie (40) put on 41 for the opening wicket before the former fell for 15.
Will Rhodes then led the way scoring 43 from 36 with a pair of fours and sixes apiece.
Rhodes struggled for support with Durham ending up 23 runs short, Dylan Pennington and Joe Pocklington taking two wickets each for Nottinghamshire.
Alan Walker’s side bounced back in the second encounter taking victory by 18 runs.
Christie top scored with 39 sharing an important third-wicket partnership with Drissell, sharing 39 in 4.3 overs.
Wickets began to fall regularly but a late 24 from 13 balls for Scott Borthwick helped Durham put 146/9 on the board. Lord, Ahmed and Pocklington picked up two scalps each.
Duanne Olivier then collected standout figures of 4/15 in three overs while Shafiqullah Ghafari’s 3/20 helped Durham to dismiss the hosts for 128 despite 39 for Travis Holland.
