Unchanged squad named for double T20 weekend

Lead High Performance Coach James Franklin has named an unchanged squad for this weekend’s away fixtures against Leicestershire Foxes and Worcestershire Rapids.

Durham Cricket begin their double weekend of T20 action with a trip to the Fischer County Ground this evening [Friday 26] to face Leicestershire Foxes before heading to the West Midlands on Sunday afternoon for the Worcestershire Rapids encounter.

Durham go into the game with one win and one loss, having opened their Blast campaign with a seven-run victory over Northamptonshire Steelbacks last Friday night.

The Foxes sit one point below Durham in the North Group having lost to Birmingham Bears and Yorkshire Vikings, despite a thrilling fixture over the Tykes earlier this week.

Worcestershire Rapids currently sit third in the group, having won against Notts Outlaws by 28 runs in their opening game, while their Birmingham Bears encounter was washed out without a ball being bowled.
