Shaun Pollock and overseas star Albie Morkel are both set to make their Durham debuts. Paul Collingwood has been made available by the ECB to play in this fixture and Liam Plunkett also returns from injury.
The entertainment won’t just be restricted to the crease, sparks will fly from fountains as the teams enter the field and the superb Durham Allstarzz dance group will be entertaining and interacting with the crowd before and during the game and there will be face painters and balloon modellers keeping youngsters entertained around the ground.
Tickets are now on sale for all of Durham’s Twenty20 Cup fixtures, a season ticket for all five games is priced at £40 for adults and £20 for juniors. Two match passes are available for £20 for adults and £10 for juniors. These passes must be purchased in advance of the games you wish to attend. Individual match tickets are also available and are priced at £12 for adults (£15 on the day) and £5 for juniors (£6 on the day).
Pre booked tickets should be collected from Gate 3 at the ground from 4.00pm.
Spectators are not permitted to bring any alcohol into the ground for Twenty20 Cup matches.
Gates open at 4.00pm, please note that searches will take place before admission into the ground.
There is ample parking at the Riverside Complex, this is a pay and display facility. Tariff is £1.50 for up to four hours stay and £2.50 for up to 6 hours stay. There is no in ground parking available to the public.
