Twenty20 Cup quarter final place up for grabs

Having beaten Derbyshire Phantoms away and Yorkshire Carnegie at Riverside last night (Wed 24 June) the Dynamos are currently placed third in the North Division table behind leaders Lancashire Lightning, who Durham face at Riverside on Friday (26 June) and Leicestershire Foxes, who are the Dynamos opposition on Sunday when they travel to Grace Road for the last group stage match of the tournament.

Friday night’s match promises to be as thrilling as they come, not only is there everything to play for in this year’s competition, a top three place in the table would guarantee the Dynamos a spot in the top division of next season’s new 20 over competition (P20).   David Warner and Phil Mustard will be coming out all guns blazing and the bowling attack looking to repeat their match winning form.

There will be entertainment all around the ground on Friday, with the best seat in the house, hot tubs, cheerleaders, fireworks, face painters, bouncy castles and Durham’s very own Chester the Lion, who will be looking to get the crowd involved in pre match madness!

There have been a record number of seats pre booked for this match, a capacity crowd is expected for Lancashire Lightning’s visit and with every game counting,  your support is vital! The lower tier of The County Durham Stand and the Don Robson Pavilion are sold out and with the walk up at previous matches topping a thousand the Club is advising that supporters that want to come along to this match book their tickets in advance.

Tickets are priced at £12 for adults and £5 for juniors when purchased in advance and can be purchased online at www.durhamcricket.co.uk or by calling the Box Office, during office hours on 0844 499 4466.
