Support Chris Adams Big Cricket Ride

They are starting at Durham CCC and finishing at Surrey CCC, passing through each of the 18 county’s doing a total of 868 miles in 15 days and are firmly on route now with only a few small incidents to mention!

Chris and David, who are both nicknamed Grizzly, will be doing the whole 868 miles and will be inviting celebrities, sponsors and cricketers to join them on various days of their tour. Durham CCC players Phil Mustard, Mark Stoneman and Michael Richardson will be joining the pair on the first leg from Durham to Leeds.

This is a massive challenge for Chris and David as they are not trained cyclists. They will be embarking on the challenge for a very personal reason and hoping to raise lot of money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.

Sadly Chris and David Father was diagnosed with Peripheral T cell lymphoma attached to the liver. Chris and David really want to do something to help and make sure others do not go through the same experience their dad and family have been through.

Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research are investing more than £1 million into research to understand how these lymphomas arise and develop more effective treatments. Chris and David’s fundraising efforts will all go to help fund this specific research.
