Sri Lanka and India to Visit Emirates Durham ICG in 2011

The change, which is due to a rescheduling of the Major Match Programme for 2011, means that Emirates Durham ICG will now host two NatWest One Day Internationals and not Twenty20 Finals Day.

These two world class sides will field a wealth of cricketing stars including Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh and Muttiah Muralitharan. While England’s ranks include Durham all rounder and ICC World Twenty20 winning captain Paul Collingwood, star batsmen Kevin Pietersen and Eoin Morgan.

Durham CCC Director of Marketing, Mark Foster, said “To bring international sport to the North East is something that everyone at Emirates Durham is extremely proud of.  With the Pakistan NatWest ODI in September this year followed by India and Sri Lanka next year there will be the opportunity to see some of the biggest stars in world cricket.  International cricket days are always well supported by the North East public and we expect there to be a high demand for tickets.”

Tickets are still available for England against Pakistan on Friday 10th September at Emirates Durham ICG. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Box Office on 0844 499 4466 or online at www.durhamccc.co.uk.

Tickets and match information for the 2011 NatWest One Day Internationals will be available on the Durham CCC official website as soon as dates are confirmed, which we expect to happen within the next couple of months.

If you are interested in Corporate Hospitality for either fixture please contact Sales Manager Tom Seymour on 0191 387 2874.
