T20 cricket returns to Seat Unique Riverside this Wednesday with an exciting double header. Durham kick off our Vitality Blast home campaign against Worcestershire Rapids, with the Northern Diamonds taking on Loughborough Lightning earlier in the day! 

Northern Diamonds v Loughborough Lightning – 2:15pm

Durham v Worcestershire Rapids – 6:30pm

Durham Cricket have allocated this day to celebrating All Stars across the County. All juniors on All Star programmes can attend both fixtures FREE of charge, just arrive wearing your All Stars kit to claim this deal. 

All Stars can also claim free junior memberships with parents having access to a deal of just £20 for T20 season cards! 

Tickets for this fixture can still be purchased online with the print at home option available, you can also show the barcode you receive via a Smart Phone and be scanned into the game. 

If tickets are purchased online before midnight on Tuesday 31 May you can secure the reduced price of £16.50 for adults.

Tickets will be available on the day & can be purchased from the Box Office at gate 2 and will be priced at £20.

Please note Seat Unique Riverside is now a cashless venue for all transactions on site.

Tickets purchased online are now available to print at home for all Durham matches, the unique bar code you receive to print can also be scanned in via your mobile.

HOSPITALITY AND PREMIUM TICKETS

Hospitality packages are also available to purchase via our premium ticket provider Seat Unique.

In partnership with Hard Rock Cafe, Seat Unique and Blueline Taxis – Durham Cricket have added an excellent match day package to enhance your Vitality Blast experience. 

For the price of just £40 adults & £25 juniors, fans can secure a match ticket for a Durham T20 game, main meal and drink at Hard Rock Cafe Newcaslte and a taxi to Seat Unique Riverside courtesy of Blueline Taxis. 

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of attending the fixture or watching from home!

ARRIVAL

Parking will be available in the public parking around Seat Unique Riverside, payment will be cashless with stewards having machines to take payment by card.

Members with prepaid disabled parking permits will be able to park in the ground, with access via gate 6 but please be aware that you will be required to remain in situ for a short period after the game to facilitate the safe exit of spectators on foot.

Graveney Club members should arrive at Gate 1 where they will be assisted with parking.

Gates will open at 1:15pm for those arriving in time for the fixture between Northern Diamonds and Loughborough Lightning.

There will be a number of access gates into the ground on the day of the fixture for those who have purchased tickets in advance, but please make sure to arrive early to avoid any queues.

You can enter Seat Unique Riverside via Gate 2, Gate 3 (no bags) and gate 5.

Spectators are asked to avoid bringing any bags if at all possible but where they do, please expect to be searched. Please be aware you can not bring your own alcoholic drinks or glass items into the Stadium for games in the Vitality Blast.

All tickets for this fixture are unreserved seating so you can sit anywhere inside Seat Unique Riverside, however the Vertu Motors stand will be closed for both fixtures on Wednesday 01 June.

MEMBERS INFORMATION

On Wednesday 01 June, the Members Lounge and balcony will be open from 4:30pm until the close of the fixture between Durham and Worcestershire rapids.

Hot food will be served from the counter between 5pm-8pm, will a full range of drinks offered at the bar.

Members can not use their guest pass for home games in the Vitality Blast. 

FAMILY ZONE

Durham Cricket are delighted that our Everyone Active Family Zone is back for 2022 as we aim to thrill the crowds both on and off the field; think you can bowl as fast as Mark Wood or pull off some Ben Stokes catches? If so, we have you covered.

The Everyone Active Family Zone will be open throughout the day!

SHOP/RECEPTION/BOX OFFICE

Durham Cricket are delighted to announce that our new Welcome Hub will be open to spectators on Wednesday 01 June.

Fans will have a chance to browse our newly redeveloped retail area which will give you the chance to purchase Durham Cricket merchandise in person for the first time this season.  

The shop area will be open throughout the day until close of play.

T20 programmes will be available to purchase from the shop, with scorecards in the same place for free.

FOOD AND DRINK

To allow spectators the chance of refreshments during the Northern Diamonds fixture we will be opening the big screen bar at 1.15pm and this will be serving the following: Tea & coffee, snacks, draught beer, a selection of soft drinks, wine, spirits, and cocktails

All other bars and food outlets will be in operation from 4.30pm until the close of the Durham game

There will be a number of different options available in the Members Lounge from 5pm.

The Sticky Wicket will be open throughout the day.

This fixture will be live streamed and available to watch on the Durham Cricket match centre, or by visiting our channel on Youtube.

The stream will include BBC commentary and multi-camera coverage.

If you wish to use this service, please head to the members lounge. 

GROUND/PITCH ACCESS

This match will be played on pitch 10 which is the pavilion side of the square.

Please remain off the pitch at all times.

SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS

Please allow sufficient time for our staff to carry out our security procedures (including bag searches and “pat – down” checks).

You can also assist with the security operation by reporting any concerns, no matter how small to the club’s stewards. Help stay secure by staying alert; if something doesn’t look right, tell a steward.

A reminder to all in attendance, dogs are welcome to attend all fixtures however all dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and we request that spectators with a dog sit away from any spectators to avoid disruption.
