It’s derby day at Seat Unique Riverside as Durham welcome Yorkshire in a huge must win Vitality Blast fixture for Durham.

Durham v Yorkshire – 6:30pm

We’re set for a beautiful day of sun, what better way to spend your Friday than supporting Durham in the Blast!? 

With temperatures set to reach 23 degrees, please to remember to bring your sun cream, caps and sun hats! 

If tickets are purchased online before midnight on Thursday 16 June you can secure the reduced price of £16.50 for adults.

Tickets will be available on the day & can be purchased from the Box Office at gate 2 or online for print at home and will be priced at £20.

Please note Seat Unique Riverside is now a cashless venue for all transactions on site.

Tickets purchased online are now available to print at home for all Durham matches, the unique bar code you receive to print can also be scanned in via your mobile.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of attending the fixture or watching from home!


We’re set for the biggest crowd of the season at Durham, please make sure to arrive in plenty of time for parking and to avoid queues at the gates!

Parking will be available in the public parking around Seat Unique Riverside, payment will be cashless with stewards having machines to take payment by card.

Members with prepaid disabled parking permits will be able to park in the ground, with access via gate 6 but please be aware that you will be required to remain in situ for a short period after the game to facilitate the safe exit of spectators on foot.

Graveney Club members should arrive at Gate 1 where they will be assisted with parking. For this fixture Graveney Members will be located in the boardroom.

Gates will open at 4:30pm

There will be a number of access gates into the ground on the day of the fixture for those who have purchased tickets in advance, but please make sure to arrive early to avoid any queues.

You can enter Seat Unique Riverside via Gate 2, Gate 3 (no bags) and gate 5.

Spectators are asked to avoid bringing any bags if at all possible but where they do, please expect to be searched. Please be aware you can not bring your own alcoholic drinks or glass items into the Stadium for games in the Vitality Blast.

All tickets for this fixture are unreserved seating so you can sit anywhere inside Seat Unique Riverside, the Vertu Motors stand will be open.


The Members Lounge will be open from 4:30pm and will remain open until the close of the game.

Hot food will be served from the counter between 5pm-8pm.

Members can not use their guest pass for home games in the Vitality Blast.


Durham Cricket are delighted that our Everyone Active Family Zone is back for 2022 as we aim to thrill the crowds both on and off the field; think you can bowl as fast as Mark Wood or pull off some Ben Stokes catches? If so, we have you covered.

The Everyone Active Family Zone will be open from 4:30pm! 


Durham Cricket’s new welcome hub and club shop will be open throughout this fixture and all of our home games across all formats.

Fans will have a chance to browse our newly redeveloped retail area which will give you the chance to purchase Durham Cricket merchandise in person.

The shop area will be open throughout the day until gates close after the fixture.

T20 programmes will be available to purchase from the shop, with scorecards in the same place for free.


There will be a number of food and drink outlets around Seat Unique Riverside and these will be open from 4:30pm until the close of the game. 

The Sticky Wicket will be open throughout the day.

Interval – approx. 7:45pm

Close – approx. 9:15pm


This fixture will be live streamed and available to watch on the Durham Cricket match centre, or by visiting our channel on Youtube.

The stream will include BBC commentary and multi-camera coverage.

This match will be played on pitch 10 which is the pavilion side of the square.

Please remain off the pitch at all times.


Please allow sufficient time for our staff to carry out our security procedures (including bag searches and “pat – down” checks).

You can also assist with the security operation by reporting any concerns, no matter how small to the club’s stewards. Help stay secure by staying alert; if something doesn’t look right, tell a steward.

A reminder to all in attendance, dogs are welcome to attend all fixtures however all dogs must be kept on a leash at all times and we request that spectators with a dog sit away from any spectators to avoid disruption.
