Durham Cricket is delighted to be visiting South Northumberland Cricket Club tomorrow for our Metro Bank One Day cup fixture against Glamorgan. Ahead of the game please see below match day information.
For members who have booked a place on the bus please park at Gate 6. The bus will leave Banks Homes Riverside at 8:45am and return at the close of play. Please arrive at the ground in enough time.

Tomorrow’s game is now SOLD OUT – there will be no tickets available to purchase on the gate.
A reminder Members must claim a ticket to attend this game tomorrow. To do this please login to your Durham Cricket via our website and claim your members ticket. Tickets will not be available to purchase at Gosforth.
There will be a designated area for disabled spectators should you wish to use this area please ask a steward for guidance on arrival.
Seating within the ground is very limited and therefore we encourage all spectators to bring their own seating.
GATE – OPENING
Gates will open at 10:30 for general admission and 9:30am for hospitality.
HOURS OF PLAY
The scheduled hours of play are as follows, but please listen for announcements of any adjustments to these timings on the day.
11.00 Start of play
14.30 (approx) Interval between innings. (30 minutes)
18.30 Scheduled Close of Play
GROUND/PITCH ACCESS
Access onto the Playing Surface/Pitch is not allowed at anytime during the match.
Spectators can bring their own chair
MEMBER ACCESS
A member’s area will be available, with a refreshment marquee and seating area. This seating will operate on a first come first served basis, with limited seating also available in the marquee. Please note for 2026 this has been moved to the corner of the ground – to the left of hospitality.
A separate area will be designated for disabled members.
VISUALLY IMPAIRED COMMENTARY
Thanks to a team of volunteers, we will once again be able to offer commentary on this fixture.
If you wish to use this service, please head to the Members tent with designated seating outside for the commentary.
SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS
Please allow sufficient time for our staff to carry out our security procedures (including bag searches and “pat – down”checks).
You can also assist with the security operation by reporting any concerns-no matter how small-to the club’s stewards. Help stay secure by staying alert; if something doesn’t look right, tell a steward or anonymously by texting location and conduct details to 07714 954990.
LEAVING THE GROUND
The pass out facility will be available to spectators throughout the day for those wishing to leave and re-enter the ground during a match. Please note the pass out system is via a wristband that will need to be worn and shown upon re-entry. No alcohol is permitted to be brought in on re-entry.
FOOD AND DRINK
Members marquee will be available as usual selling teas, coffees, sandwiches etc – please note it will be card only. Alcohol is permitted and can either be 4 cans or 1 one bottle of wine.
Refreshments will be available within the ground. You are permitted to bring your own food and refreshments into the venue and there is also a wide range of shops just outside the main entrance of the ground.
HYDRATION
The forecast for Wednesday is warm – please bring plenty of water and sun cream to keep yourself safe from the sun.
SCORECARDS
Scorecards will be available from the box office gazebo, for THIS GAME ONLY scorecards can be purchased with cash for £1.
WHEN TO SEEK HELP
Help our stewards to help you.
Durham Cricket club wants every spectator to have a really good day at South Northumberland. However, if you do encounter a problem, please talk to the stewards. After every match, the Club receives correspondence from Members and other spectators regarding matters which could –and should –have been dealt with promptly and appropriately on the day. Whatever the issue, please don’t suffer in silence.
Wait until a break in play to leave or return to your seat.
Movement whilst an over is in progress is probably the commonest single subject raised by Members and spectators, yet it is one of the trickier issues for stewards to have to deal with. By the time an incident has occurred, it is too late to have prevented it and the behaviour often becomes contagious within the vicinity. Please be considerate of your fellow spectators by waiting until the end of the over or suitable break in play before vacating or returning to your seat.
