Spectator Information: Durham v Durham University

Following Durham men’s two-day friendly against Sussex in Hove, Ryan Campbell’s side take on Durham University this weekend ahead of the 2026 Rothesay County Championship.

Entry for this fixture is free across all three days with entry from 10am each day.

Please note Banks Homes Riverside is a cashless venue for all transactions on site.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of attending the fixture.

GATES

Entry to the ground will be via Gate 2.

Gates will open at 10am.

HOURS OF PLAY

The scheduled hours of play are as follows, but please listen for announcements of any adjustments to these timings on the day.

CAR PARKING

Parking is available in the council car parks outside the ground. There will be no stewarding in this area.

2026 disabled car parking passes are in the process of being distributed – if you have not yet received yours, 2025  passes can be used for this fixture, with access via gate 6.

GROUND/PITCH ACCESS

The match will be played on pitch 2

SHOP/RECEPTION/BOX OFFICE

Durham’s welcome hub will be open throughout this fixture.

Fans will have the chance to browse in the club shop to grab a piece of Durham kit ahead of the new season.

For those still wishing to renew memberships, this can be done via the welcome hub from 10am each day.

Yearbooks are not available for collection yet and will be available from the Kent game on Friday 3 April 2026.

FOOD AND DRINK

A member’s lounge will be available each day located in the Castle View Suite, the team will be serving soup, sandwiches, bar  snacks and confectionary/crisps. Please note no hot food is available this week. 

The Sticky Wicket will be open on Saturday and Sunday offering breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks. Please note on Monday The Sticky Wicket will be open from 11am to 4pm only offering a reduced menu.

Food and soft drinks can be brought into the venue for this match.

MEMBERS FORUM

Monday night’s members forum will take place in the Geoff Cook suite and will commence shortly after the close of play.

Members will have the opportunity to sample some of our new food in collaboration with Thomas Franks at the Forum.
