Society fund first-class photograph collection

Durham CCC chief executive David Harker received a cheque from the Dunelm Cricket Society during the recent Specsavers County Championship match against Leicestershire.

Presented by Ian Todd from the Society, the funds will cover the costs of framed photographs of each player to have played first-class cricket for the Club.

The collection currently adorns the walls of the top floor of the Don Robson Pavilion.

The Dunelm Cricket Society also funded the honours board at Emirates Riverside, which lies on the outside walls of the pavilion.

David Harker said: “We are extremely grateful to Ian & the Dunelm Cricket Society for their generous donation. They have chosen to use the last of the society’s funds for this project & we thank them for doing so.

“It’s important to recognise the contributions of all the players who have featured for us over the years & this is one of the ongoing ways in which we can do that.”
