Between 12.30pm and 3.30pm Durham’s coaches will take the children to participate in numerous activities.
Children will be given the opportunity of joining in some cricket coaching, playing on bouncy castles and in the grass nets used by the professionals. They will also get the opportunity to meet some of Durham’s players and ask them any questions they might have.
They will also be given the one off opportunity of becoming a reporter for a day. They will get to watch the cricket from our state of the art media centre and record and broadcast news articles on the cricket. Staff from the Playing for Success facility will run this element of the day.
Parents can then collect their children at the interval to enjoy the second innings as a family.
Space in this event is limited to 100 places so spots are allocated on a first come first serve basis.
