The 2nd XI then begin their Championship season away at Emirates Old Trafford where they take on Lancashire from Monday 15 April followed by a trip to Repton School on Monday 6 May going up against Derbyshire.

The 2nd XI T20 Trophy will get underway in May, with two T20 warm up matches scheduled against Northamptonshire at Campbell Park, Milton Keynes on Tuesday 14 and Wednesday 15 May.
