Second XI fixtures confirmed for the 2022 season

Durham’s Second XI fixtures have been confirmed for the 2022 season, with fixtures announced in both the 2nd XI Championship and 2nd XI T20 Trophy.

Durham 2nd XI begin their Championship season away to Hampshire on Monday 11 April where they will take on the 2021 Champions at the Ageas Bowl, followed by a trip to Guilford on Tuesday 26 April going up against Surrey.

The Championship campaign will see Durham on the road for the opening three games as they take on Derbyshire at Chesterfield starting on Monday 2 May.

The 2nd XI T20 Trophy will get underway in May, with all five games being played as double headers across May and June.

Durham will open their North group campaign against Yorkshire on Monday 16 May, before hosting Nottinghamshire two days later on Wednesday 18 June at the Riverside.

Durham will also go up against Leicestershire at the Uptonsteel County Ground, Lancashire at West Houghton and Derbyshire (venue tbc) throughout the T20 campaign.

Richmond will host back-to-back 2nd XI Championship home games against Yorkshire and Kent to conclude June, with one game scheduled in July against Lancashire at Northern.

Nottinghamshire will be the visitors at the Riverside on Monday 29 August, with the Seconds concluding the season with games against Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire with the venues of both games still to be confirmed.
