Scott Steel To Support Lord’s Taverners Runs For Change Campaign

T20 opening batsman Scott Steel has signed up to raise funds for the Lord’s Taverners charity through their Runs for Change campaign to support disadvantaged and disabled young people in the county.

Steel will be helping the UK’s leading youth cricket and disability sports charity raise money with every run he scores in this seasons Vitality Blast during the shortened 2020 season. He joins over 20 players from across the country in supporting this new way of fundraising at a time when the charity’s activity has been hampered by Covid-19.

You can sponsor each run he scores for as little, or as much as you like – and you can cap the maximum amount you’d like to donate, while also choosing whether you donate for a single match, month or year.

All monies raised will go towards the Lord’s Taverners charity cricket programmes which support some of the most marginalised and at-risk young people in the UK using sport and recreation to build links between communities and encouraging groups to play sport together.

To donate to Scott’s fundraising efforts and to take part in the campaign, sign-up using this link – www.bit.ly/SS_R4C

You can also support the charity through social media, whether you can afford to donate or not, by sharing the above links and encouraging sign ups and tagging @lordstaverners.
