Rushworth returns as Lewis names 13 man squad for Foxes T20

With the Natwest T20 Blast season reaching a pivotal stage as qualification for the next stages looms on the horizon, Durham Jets will have to be on top form at the Emirates Riverside this weekend against the Leicestershire Foxes (2.30pm start).

Jon Lewis’ side are unbeaten on home soil this season and lie sixth in the North Group. Two wins and a washed out encounter with the Worcestershire Rapids has given the Jets a real chance of reaching the all-important fourth position of a quarter final spot in this year’s competition.

Lewis has named a 13-man squad for the Foxes visit to Chester-le-Street that includes in-form seamer Chris Rushworth who looks set to return after struggling with a hamstring strain during Durham’s Specsavers County Championship clash against Hampshire.

Jamie Harrison and Calum Macleod have also been included in Durham’s squad but England international Mark Wood hasn’t been selected despite playing for the 2nd XI this week as he continues to recover from an ankle injury.

Durham squad:

Stoneman (Capt), Mustard (WK), Stokes, Muchall, Pringle, Jennings, Coughlin, Richardson, Borthwick, Arshad, Rushworth, Macleod, Harrison.
