Rookie Squad takes shape as five secure Durham deals

Durham Cricket have worked quickly this winter to secure five talented prospects on rookie deals for the 2020 season.

The list of players includes left-arm seamer Jack Campbell, 19, who made his first-class debut earlier this year, and right-handed batsman Sol Bell, 18, who featured in Durham’s final home game of the season against Glamorgan.

Academy product Josh Coughlin, 22, has also signed a rookie deal as he continues his progression through the counties development setup.

Michael Jones, 21, who has represented Scotland at One Day International level, will also continue his development at Emirates Riverside as will seamer Oliver Gibson, 19, who spent time training with the first team earlier this year.
